Five Star Conference and Expo
We attended this year’s Five Star Conference and Expo held in Dallas.
Tiffany Fletcher, VRM’s Senior Vice President of Compliance, and Phyllis Wright, SVP of Strategic Human Resources, were among the many speakers who took to the Five Star stage.
We were also thrilled to see VRM’s COO Cheryl Travis-Johnson as one of the finalists of The 2023 Women in Housing Leadership Awards.
The conference celebrated its 20th anniversary and featured hundreds of exhibitors, professionals in the mortgage and lending industry, financial services, and real estate organizations. The agenda involved conversations around the latest conditions and influences impacting the real estate, REO market, property preservation, and eMortgages.

FinServ Summit
FinServ Summit is quickly becoming an REO favorite, and CIFS (The Council for Inclusion in Financial Services) had three this year — held in Detroit, Dallas, and, most recently, San Diego.
VRM Mortgage Services sponsored the regional events, highlighting the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The summits centered around housing market updates and vendor roundtable discussions.
NAMMBA Connect 2023
In addition to Five Star, we had a booth and were a sponsor at NAMMBA Connect 2023 (National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America) in Orlando.
