Since joining VRM in 2008, Ms. Travis-Johnson is responsible for developing and rolling out VRMU, which is one of the leading training vehicles for real estate professionals. She is committed to developing non-traditional services to mitigate losses associated with non-performing loans. Ms. Travis-Johnson’s leadership has distinguished VRM among clients and within the industry. She has helped VRM become the best in class with mortgage servicing solutions, without compromising its commitment to preserving communities nationwide. Further, as a director on the board of PCV/VRM Seeds of Hope non-profit, Ms. Travis-Johnson leverages philanthropy to support neighborhood stabilization efforts. Prior to joining VRM, Ms. Travis-Johnson served as Director of REO Sales Operations for Freddie Mac, during which time she received Freddie Mac’s Premier Achievement Award. Previously, Ms. Travis-Johnson held senior leadership roles in originations, branch operation, auditing, loan servicing, non-performing loans, and REO sales for such industry leaders as First Interstate Bank, World Savings and Loan, and First Deposit Corporation. During Ms. Travis-Johnson‘s 30 year tenure within the mortgage servicing, she has been widely recognized for providing superior client operations management and customer service, improving company efficiencies, and increasing market share despite the market chaos of the last five years. She actively participates in NAREB, NHORA, MBA, AREAA, the Asset Manager Forum, California Mortgage Bankers Association and DFW REO Professionals. Ms. Travis-Johnson received her undergraduate degree in Administration and Legal Processes with an emphasis in Economics from Mills College in Oakland, California. She received an MBA from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota and is on track to receive a PhD in Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Walden.[/box]

Ms. Helms functions in a dual role, responsible for client-based operational accounting and billing as well as corporate financial responsibilities. When Ms. Helms joined VRM in 2011, she led the initiative to obtain VRM’s initial SSAE 16 (Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16, Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization) audit and report (aka SAS 70). Drawing on her more than 20 years of accounting and mortgage experience, she currently manages LPS Invoice Management expense reimbursements, property tax and HOA operations, and client billing/reimbursements providing customized electronic invoicing solutions to meet client needs. Prior to joining VRM, Ms. Helms was the Director of Accounting with Fannie Mae responsible for the accounting and reporting of Fannie Mae’s REO portfolio. She has held numerous other management positions within mortgage and financial services firms, including Hudson Advisors, CitiFinancial International, the Associates and Citibank. Ms. Helms began her career in public accounting with Deloitte and Touché. Ms. Helms received a Masters degree in Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma and is a Certified Public Accountant.

In her role, Ms. Wood is responsible for organizational risk assessments, strategic planning, and tactical execution of processes to engage and expand corporate competencies. Since joining VRM in 2008, she has managed operations for our largest client, developed a training program for Asset Managers and created a capacity planning tool for performance management and budgeting. Prior to joining VRM, Ms. Wood honed her industry skills with a background in residential sales, investor rehabs, commercial development and agent management. Previously, she held Controller and CFO positions and was a Senior Auditor for KPMG Peat Marwick. Ms. Wood is a Certified Public Accountant and maintains a Texas Real Estate Broker license. Her experience has made her a respected resource within the company and the industry. Ms. Wood received an undergraduate degree in Accounting with honors from the University of Louisville.

Phyllis Wright leads VRM’s Human Resource department and is responsible for all major HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and organization development. She also advises the senior leadership team on effective HR programs and improves the overall efficiency in the HR department. Ms. Wright brings with her over 15 years of management and leadership experience in the field of human resources. She has a proven track record in recruiting and retaining exceptional talent to facilitate company growth. She has spent the last eight months as a Principal Consultant on a Children’s Medical Center and Time Warner engagement. Prior to consulting, Ms. Wright was VP of Human Resources with primary responsibility for Talent and Organization Development at Baylor Health Care System. She successfully led a team of 11 HR members responsible for the design and implementation of organization development solutions that engaged, developed, and retained talent. Ms. Wright holds an MBA in Business Management from the University of Dallas, an MS in Management and Administrative Science with emphasis in Organization Development and Change Management from the University of Texas Dallas, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Dallas Baptist University.
